Teen Lock-in at the Library
Celebrate the end of the school year by spending the night in the library!
Ages 13-18
There will be games, internet, a photo scavenger hunt, pizza, and more!
Teens must sign up in advance and return a permission slip signed by themselves and their parents.
Contact Tonya Oswalt at the Bossier Central Library (318-746-1693) to get more information and/or to sign up!

Teen Summer Reading Program
All teenagers in Bossier Parish, between the ages of 13-18, are invited to participate in the Teen Summer Reading Program! This year, three branches will have weekly programs: the Bossier Central Branch, the Aulds Branch, and the East 80 Branch. The dates are as follows:

*There will not be any programs during the week of July 4th.
There is also a reading challenge that teens may participate in, even if they do not attend the weekly programs. For every 3 hours spent reading, participants will get a small prize, up to five prizes. For every 15 hours spent reading, participants will get an entry in the grand prize drawing. The grand prize is a Samsung Galaxy 7" tablet. Reading logs will be given out on the first day of the program at each branch, and are due back at the library by July 24th. The grand prize winner will be selected and contacted on Monday, July 28th. The Benton and Haughton branches will also have reading logs available.

Teen Tech Week
Ages: 13—18
Short films must be submitted to Youtube and submission information must be emailed to the library. Registration forms must also be completed and returned for every participant (director, writer, actors, etc.). Information sheets and registration forms are available at the Bossier Parish Libraries.
DEADLINE FOR ENTRIES: MONDAY, MARCH 10, 2014 (END OF DAY)
Finalists will be selected to be shown at a viewing party. No more than 10 short films will be viewed at the party. Everyone is invited to attend to enjoy refreshments and the short films! Winners will be announced at the party.
