Teen Advisory Board


The Bossier Parish Library Teen Advisory Board (TAB) is open to Bossier Parish teens between the ages of 13-19 that are currently in middle or high school.  The TAB meets on the 2nd Monday of each month, from 4:30 pm - 5:30 pm, at the Bossier Central Branch in the History Center meeting room.

What does the TAB do?

TAB members are asked to:

  •  suggest ideas for teen programs at the library
  •  help, carry out, and attend plan teen programs
  •  promote teen programs to peers
  •  suggest books for the young adult collection
  •  help design teen spaces at the various branches of the Bossier Parish libraries
  •  volunteer for various projects for the library as needed
  •  submit written or verbal book reviews every other month
  •  write articles for Teen Central blog
